I'll come wednesday a few days in Bretagne, about 120km from Brest,  for a "family fiesta".

(Probably no connections with the forums)

I"ll back with you, sunday evening.

Good luck to Allianza

I see nothing wrong with snails and goose liver pate - highly edible, if I may say so, especially if with lavish garlic topping!

Snails...  certainly not, I hate snails & oysters too.  ;D

We eat very fine cuisine.
Pork & beef with very fine sauce.
The last meal was in a castle (3 stars in the classement).
Rabbit stuff with truffles was absolutly delicious    :D

Now that's good eats. Maybe if Maddox ever succeeds in persuading me to make a trip to the Continent, you'll have to tell me where that place is so I can try it.

And I had excellent pork in a sauce this weekend too, but it was the pulled pork variety out of the crock pot (mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm).

That looks really good Jef.

For a "hours d"oevre".

It's my only gripe with modern French cuisine. Most chefs- in restaurants I visited- that promote the Nouvelle Cuisine, have studied in Ethiopia or so, because, even the most beautifully decorated plate won't satisfy my Burgundian heritage as a Flamand.

I am right now in San Diego, CA, on a trip conference paid by the US taxpayer University of Nevada, Reno.

So I am going to visit CV-41 USS Midway and a few century-old sailing ships  ;D 8) :P.

About culinary marvels, ask later.

Ahoj!
Jeftge - I hope you only ate the succulent meat in cream sauce! The alien life forms in the top of the picture surely are NOT edible!?!
