The ratification of the Baltic Sea Agreement is passed by the ESC parliament, the ratification has been delayed due to the hostilities between Italia and New Zion as the Esc parliament had some heated discussion concerning the ESC naval presence in the Indian Ocean, more specifically, about the lack of major warships in Surat.

The Esc parliament decides to despatch a small naval force consisting of BB 02 Torden, CL 01 Odin, CL 02 Thor, and Cl. 24 Troms to Gujarat to understate the will of the ESC to protect its overseas possessions and to prevent any raiders to penetrate ESC territory.

But to the astonishment of the parliament the Navy already had ordered said forces to Gujarat
This created some upheaval in parliament, especially from the Socialists, even though in the end, the Socialists approved of the decision of the navy-staff, to dispatch the squadron and even also to later to dispatch 1. Battle sqdrn to the same area.
Thus giving the residing admiral some experience to manoeuvre larger war ships, anticipating the commission of ESCS Gujarat in Jan 1916.

1/2 1915

Rumours in the Capital Karlstad will have that the Esc is somehow involved in the

negotiations to bring an end to the Italian - New Zionite conflict.

However no government officials have as yet commented on said rumours.

6/2 1915

The government announces that it the 28/1 received a message from the Italian

Senate requesting the aid from the Esc, together with other world powers, to

implement a democratic government in New Zion, and thus end the hostility between

Italy and New Zion and bring peace and stability to the region.

It pleases the government to announce that the Esc has agreed to the Italian

proposal, and the Esc together with The Confederate States of America, and a third

power yet to be decided by the C.S.A. and the E.S.C., will do its outmost to

transform New Zion to a true democracy.

The ESC will as soon as transportation can be acquired, transfer III Corps from

Hanover(50.000) and a Marine division(10.000) to New Zion as a security force

together whit elements from 1Battle sqdrn as to prevent piracy and to do rescue and

inspection duties.

The political level of the New Zionite government is being replaced, but the large bureaucracy below it remains in place and continues to function in its police, security, and other roles. 

Gran Colombia would suggest that a modest team of bureaucrats is all that is required for an on-the-ground presence in New Zion.

well ofcourse... why else would someone offer to act as a "Security force" in a much smaller Nation.

Hmm, a corps in warupkeep....  What is the pricetag on that?

And nope, I doubt New Zion is going to pay for it. 
Desertfox, are you going to pay for a security force that is enforced upon your poor country by the agression of another European power?

Ledeper, are you sure 1 corps is enough? After all, the full New Zionite army is mobilized...

hmm true enough maybee it should be a multi national force (think UN Peace Keapers)

The NS would be willing to send 1 Corps to oversee the Security of the Region (and no outraged outbursts we stayed nutral in this whole mess)

A pity that Oberst Schadenfreude, the "Despoiler of Aden", the "Skull Taker" is dead - I'd put him forward for head of the peacekeeping force ... accompanied by von Kindermord, of course ....

What the hell? Last I checked New Zion was still a sovereign nation. Any uninvited armed forces WILL be shoot at.

The RRC will send 2~3 corps if more nations start sending "security forces"
