The head of ESC intelligence service F.E. Dzerzhinsky is presenting a secret report on the murder of the Pope, which show that the allegation against New Zion is unfounded, the most possible perpetrator is most likely a dissatisfied Greek Muslim as a revenge for the death of his family in the Balkan War, furthermore it is evident that the Pope wasn't the target, but the Iberian royal family, but the assassin somehow boggled up. Also the assassin's weapon is fabricated in France and it is also known by ESC intelligence that even in the Italian government there is dissent about whether or not New Zion is behind the murder.

Your ships does not have the 4200nm@20kts range from Trieste to Gujarat. BTW the trip from say Oslo to Trieste is another 4200nm. Google Earth is your friend.

Triest-Karachi is 14 and a half days sailing at 12 knots. To this add a day for passing Suez.
I use this sight, which works under IE.

And it indeed is borderline range - 4150 nm. Either recoal - even if partly, at Aden or Djibuti, or go at 10 knots.

Hmmm, I don't recall the ESC asking to use the Suez Canal for Military shipping.

That could give problems.

The treaty of Nassau alliance members have free acces to the 2 French canals, anybody else have to ask, but up to now, it was never refused, unless diplomatical messures were under way.


The only country atm that is banned from both the French Canals is New Swiss. and that's changing, due recent concessions made by New Swiss.

The ESC ambassador in Paris expresses his deepest regret and apology to the French Republic for the thoughtlessness from the ESC for in such a blatant and ignorant way neglecting to ask the permission of use of the Suez channel from the French authorities.
The Esc will hereby ask permission of the French authorities to transit :BB 02 Torden ,CL 01 Odin ,CL 02 Thor ,Cl.  Troms , and will furthermore ask the permission to also transit Western Baltic Squadron between 15/3 - 1/4 1915.

Due the late request, the ESC fleet will have to wait untill the current waiting line has solved.

In the mean time Iberian and Italian warships are seen passing the canal without any hitch.

BB 09 Danmark ,BB 10 Norge  ,Ca Hamburg,Ca Karlstad ,CA  Isbjørn ,Cl.  Jylland,Cl.  Sacshen,DD 01 Bornholm, ,DD 02 Andøy, DD 03 Tingmiarmiut ,Dd Rygen,Dd Sørøy for extensive manoeuvres and exercises together with the Asian squadron during the spring and summer of 1915.
1 Battle squadron is expected to leave early February to Trieste for joint exercises with the Bavarian Navy.
1 Battle squadron is expected to arrive in Surat late April.
