I just took my cough syrup, you have to love anything that the doctors office gives you that says 'controlled substance' on it.  I hope when I wake up tomorrow I can breath normally, that would be nice.

I feel much better other than the linger fuzziness in my head from the codeine and sleeping so long.  No driving for me for a bit.  I might talk a walk later today.

The several times I've been on good narcotics (wisdom teeth, tore up my knee, broke my collarbone, had an *ahem* urilogical procedure), I've always ended up craving this place:

Codeine is much better to be on compared to hydrocodone; which makes me loopy for hours and hours.  I have a bad back so doctors keep telling me to take strong pain killers for it and whenever I get sick like this I ask for the codeine laced cough meds, sleep is key and its puts me to bed no matter how bad I feel.
