Messing around with Google Maps, I think I've got all of it here.

Now that is outright cool how do you do it I would love to do it unfortunately half of my Bases and Shore Batteries are on a theoretical Island off the Coast of Africa.... :)

I agree that is really cool.  I've been wanting to do that with Egypt's installations and major cities and railroads.  But I haven't the patience to sit down and do it. 

and if one wanted to do this, how would one go about it?

Download google earth for starters I'd assume. 

No need, create an account for google maps and create a custom map in "my maps" and set markers.

I'm still at the MS Paint and downloaded maps phase :)

Damn its a great Idea but most of my Costal Batteries are at Nacala, Blantrye, Novo Lipari, and only at Montivideo would they appear on a real map.

What would be neat is if I could auto-update the google map with data from my inventory spreadsheet. I suppose if I added lat-long to that, I could. Then all sorts of stuff, like army hq locations and even ship locations could be mapped. That would be nifty.

Next time I'm laid up for a couple of days and my wife wants to watched DVR'd award shows to "spend time with me", I guess.
