Just a time filler.... I'm supposing ya'll will think differently after 1923-25... already, ship sizes are stalling out lower than historical because of a lack of BP. Just a small increase would be nice.

Players who just got moved to a new nation which constituted a *massive* increase in BP should probably refrain from complaining about not having enough BP for a half or 10. Just some friendly advice.

I'm still in Romania super whine mod.  ;D. Although I'm really tempted to sell the Neovo Leon's and use the BP to build my followup ship.

I wouldnt... the NLs were good for their day (and CHEAP as all hell) realy they are still decent BBs imho.

as for BP, well for me it wouldnt mater if I had 40 BP I would still want to build more stuff (what I like coming up with wierd ships...)

ooc : The more you, and everyone has, the more they seem to spend...
In Wesworld, my Netherlands makes 60,000 tons of warship material/year, while my Belgium putters along at 20,000 (5,000/Q). The Belgians are limited, the Dutch..could use even more. The Saudis however are hopeless. The sticking point tends to be being too small, then you can't build a large ship and escorts. Belgium is slightly below that, but close.   Once you pass that it's all bonus IMHO.

We are seeing the logical result of a world without a London or Washington Naval Conference and without a huge and ruinous World War 1.   So yes ships sizes and guns are going to climb dramatically.  We already have people building 40,000+ Ton Monsters.

We will soon see a two Tier Naval Power Structure, where Only serious first rate powers those with say 20+ BP per Half can afford to build these massive monsters and the rest of us will be building over gunned Armored Cruisers.  :)

OOC : my theory is a reversion to the days of sail when there were a handful of 100-gun queens of the sea, and scores of 74 gun ships of the line, and then some frigates that have all the fun.  No matter how big the warship, it only exerts sea control in a certain area, and still has to put in for maintenance at times, so you need several just to keep one at sea.   Small nations can still "count" via alliances, either by adding their single BB to the mix, or by rounding out the smaller forces"

A Official Proclomation by the Confederate States of America

The Confederate States of America, finding it nessasary in order to protect the rights of Confederate whalers and merchantmen in the areas of the Southern Sea, do hearby claim the areas of the continent of Antarctica, to extend from the Western Edge of the New Switzerland claim to the Eastern Edge of the Austrian claim, to the South Pole, and the islands in the general cone of this area out to a laditute of 55 degrees South Laditude.

OOC: The historical Norwegian claim, with some areas added on. I would expect the Japanese to have the Unclaimed areas. http://antarcticparadise.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/antarctica1.jpg

IC : The UNK does not recognize any claims on the Antarctic continent at this stage (OOC: baring my missing some history somewhere).
OOC : Probably something that should be discussed with the Nassau Treaty Members before making a public statement.
<_kr4m3r> so many fucking criminals, its bullshit
<foniks`> heh, if we sent all the criminals to some empty continent and just left them there to die
<foniks`> and showed up like 50yrs later like, "sup?"

<FoSZoR[bg]> something along the lines of, "G`Day mate"

Rohan refuses to recognise any claims on the Antarctic Continent at this time but reserves the right to claim a portion or its entierity at a future date.

I thought you had the New Zealand claim. There is enough Antarctica to share.  ;D

Nobody

The Orange government sees the adjacent portion of Antarctica as their territory and is therefore highly displeased by the CSAs announcement.
