Folks:

Something has come up at my work; precisely what the something is, is not clear (that's how it is when you're a bureaucrat).  However, there are strong indications that I am about to find myself working a lot of overtime, starting next week.

If this happens, my ability to sim December 1916 will be severely limited.  The other Mods may be able to pick up the slack - they may not.  Therefore, while we derive great pleasure from blowing your shit up, it is entirely possible that it will take most of September, 2009 to resolve December, 1916.

If you are comfortable with this timetable, peachy; if not, it may be appropriate for the belligerents to consider possible negotiated settlements to this conflict.

I'm cool. I have other games, school, my pathetic excuse for job-hunting efforts, and an original novel project I'm being guilted into starting.

So, um, not being expected to produce news, art, or designs? A bit of a relief. ^_^;

Hmm - that's my sixth colleague to resign from my work group (with a nominal complement of five besides the boss and I) in a year.  If senior management didn't know better, they'd probably think there was a problem somewhere...
