If you have invested or done any deals with Ireland over the course of the years, please let me know. I'm working on the catchup reports.

What is Ireland's situation in regards to the UNK?
If they are a 'friendly client state' I will be free to adopt one stance.
If they are a 'neutral client state' I will need to take another.
If they are interested in being a thorn in the side of 'the bloody British' then I have few alternatives.
So 'ere's to you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, at your 'ome in old Baghdad;
You're a pore benighted 'eathen but a first-class fightin' man;
We gives you your certificate, an' if you want it signed
We'll come an' 'ave a romp with you whenever you're inclined.

The Rock Doctor

I bought and ate many potatoes, but this should not show up in your sim report.

Guinness

I'm not so sure that in our timeline the potato ever made its way to Irish shores.

The Rock Doctor

I see...

Well, that makes the Southern Cross that much more important to me, then.

Logi

Carth, they are friendly.

Import some potatoes now.

It wasn't a question of what to IMPORT... just what to EXPORT.
Perhaps not even that much of a difference- the only real question I needed answered was if the rifles I was to be exporting to Ireland should be sent in crates or the hands of men trained to use them. ;)

'Import potatoes' was directed at Rock. We need some samples to start growing it :/

Logi

Oh, and before I forget, Carth. Ireland is not a client state. Don't believe it for a second.

You'll be surprised if you even try.

With only one BP, they have to get things from somewhere.
I just figured it would be convenient to get it from a place that could be swam to on fair day than to import it from much farther abroad. The UNK would happily aid the Irish in their endeavors to free and independent. Being a 'client' doesn't have to mean being a 'pawn.' :)

Ireland is likely to not adopt the same views as the UNK. Titles such as 'client' don't interest them.

Just don't slap any titles on them and you'll be fine with them.
