Dumai : A port on the coast of Sumatra, on the Malacca St, this will serve the same role as Singapore, though not quite as advantageous a location.  A river mouth fronts on a channel between Sumatra and an island on the strait, making for a secure anchorage. The Parthian navy has been building docks there and it hosts most of the Pacific Fleet.

Ria de Janerio : Tremendous natural harbor serving Parthia's South Merica Holdings. Home of most of the Atlantic Fleet.

Sofala (Beira) : I've been debating between this and Dar Es Salaam or Mombasa.
I will make the decision by the end of 1932.

The port I call Sofala is actually Beira, with Nova Sofala across the river and a touch down the coast. The mouth of the River Pungwe serves as the harbor and is dredged. The Naval Base is upriver a bit from the commercial port. The African Squadron is headquartered here.
