It was assumed it did in N3, it was left up to the mods to inflict such casulties as were viewd as necessary just like under strength hulls (there were a few carry overs from N2)

In other words, the stability and seakeeping advantages of the design last up until the first round hits below the belt. How exactly is that handled in the combat simulations?

I think you should use one of the new features of SS3 - the "belt incline". In this case with negative values.

That should probably be used in addition to bulging, not in place of it.

Ok, here is what I need from all players. The National economies are reproduced below. Please use these to make your turn-0 of 5 years (1895-1899) of production. There are a few copies of various spreadsheets floating around, I will ask Nobody to upload his latest in this thread for completeness. By Monday, October 8th I need the following from every player:

1. The distribution of IC and BP throughout the regions of your country. BP values are absolute, but I understand that a small variation in income may happen based on IC distribution. IC distribution will be left up to the players, tho values that the community feels are vastly off will be reviewed.
2. The size of your Army, inclusive of any forts.
3. Your Naval infrastructure.
4. The amount of cash and BP invested in your navy and coastal defenses. These should be as complete as possible with individual designs, tho I understand if there are a few small holes (ie, missing a class of TBs).
5. The naval guns that your nation employs. Try and keep this list small. If it is to large, a cash fine consistent with researching the guns may be leveled.

Players who don't make this deadline will face consequences. When in doubt, look at the N3 rules for guidance. As far as I know, most of the changes we are making do not effect attributes needed for start up. There is one special rule for pre-start ships, engine year=laydown year. There will be no research or economic growth during turn-0. Any questions?
