Here's a slightly confused vessel (the historical USS Alarm was confused as well): it has a HUGE ram, but also spar torpedoes, and this one is fast enough to use them. Some anthracite coal, a dark night, and someone could get hurt...... 8)

Realistically, it's too early for that, unless we're talking about turrets. Not to mention that MGs aren't really that common yet (they will be soon enough, but open mounts continued to be commonly used, even up through WWI).
