Here's the place you can post any issues you see, etc.

One issue Tex found: timestamps may be off. This is because the server we used to be on was on Central European Time, but the new one is in the N. American Mountain Timezone. I've tried to adjust it to be like it was, but it's a little bit goofy.

If your timestamps look off, do this:

1. click profile in the top nav
2. click "Look and Layout Preferences" under "Modify Profile"
3. find "Time Offset" and click the "auto detect" link next to the number input box.

I hope that will re-normalize your displayed timestamps and all will be well.

I dont see anything wrong, granted the time setings were messed up for me, but that was an easy fix.

It looks fine to me.

The E-mail notification seems to have resumed working.
The time is correct.
Other than that, I see absolutely no difference at all.

It feels a bit slower though (but no way to test that, especially without the old IP).

I was a bit surprised when the forum suddenly became unavailable. Wasn't that a day early?

Right day I think Nobody, and the forum is faster for me.  Im sure it has somthing to do with it being basicly in my backyard now (is it Denver or Boise Guinness?)  Load times were never bad for me, but now its instantanious.

I think it's in New York, at least that's what tracert suggests.

Oh and he said:
QuoteI'm hoping to be able to move this forum to a new webhost by next weekend, probably on Friday night
Right now its Friday morning, so is a day early. Anyway, a job well done.

Oh, and not all systems (dns?) seem to know the new server yet. Just got an error about when trying to access the forum in a different way.

Guinness said its in Mountin, (my time zone) which was why I asked if it was in Denver or Boise  ;) (thats basicly the only major places around here for hosting)

It was a day early and unplanned. Access from Europe is likely slower; network packets are taking a longer trip. I have no idea where the server actually is with any precision.

Gotta say, the News bar at the top is actually pretty useful.

I'm in virtual "LOL, ROTFL" state that we have a twitter.
