1920 Amazonas-Tarapaca Rebuilt

These 2 x 3400T cruisers were originaly built in 1907-1910 for long range raid.
Now, they have poor armament to be used in Armada.

NUS Admiralty with the new aircraft techno & inspired by GC Espiritu Santo Class,
could test a rebuilt with an aft platform for aircraft. The hull of these cruisers is enough to install a 62m platform aft.

(The rebuilt is similar to USS Pennsylvania or HMS Furious aft deck)

Here is the rebuilt plan with the Calculation.

Upslope give some advantages;
- A higher speed to take off, with the cruiser at slow speed.
- A quicker stop when the plane land & the cruiser running at high speed. Note the rope net between the short mast on the flying deck.
- Economise the weight of the flying deck with small aft supports.

  Upward slope is novel - but on Landing - given how steep it looks - isn't there a Risk of Prop hitting deck   :(

The deck is design like this with the 1919-1920 considerations.
Deck form could change after the first tests with aircrafts in 1921.
That is a futur history...
