What time is it?

In real-time March 2010, we are embarking on  the sim's first half of 1919.  

We aim to progress at the pace of one year of sim-time to one month of real-time.  Usually, we don't quite manage that.  Still, it provides a reasonable balance between keeping things flowing and allowing players to balance play with the rest of their full lives.

Things may slow down if we're involved in a war, because the battles will need to be fought out.  However, we've learned some lessons on time management from the last few wars, so we're hopeful that future wars will move along more merrily.

If you're curious, we started things off in the sim-year 1898.  We had something of a hiccup late in 1904, and fast-forwarded to 1906.  Consequently, only a partial compilation of pre-1906 news and sim reports can only be found in the archives forum.
