Rohan does not use prefixes, but instead suffixes for their warships. The suffix is: Vessel of the Riddermark (V.R.)

So the proper reference to a ship is: Theoden, Vessel of the Riddermark, or Theoden V.R. However, most people over the years have shortened the name so that is either comes out "Theoden, Vessel of Rohan", or "Theoden, Vessel of the Mark". This has lead some to refer to ship used by Rohan as Theoden V.M., but this is not correct. It is commonly accepted to call a ship a "Vessel of the Mark" but still use the suffix "V.R."

Civilian vessels of Rohan are refered to by a very different suffix: Ship of the Westron (S.W.) This comes from the days when the civilian vessels of both Rohan and Gondor sailed the ocean, but were not considered a part of either nation specifically...so the primary launguage of both lands was used to signify the ships of Gondor and Rohan from those of other lands. It should be "Ship of the Westron Speaking Peoples" but this was felt to be way too long and cumbersome. "Ship of the Westron" got the point across well enough. So the proper way to refer to a civilian ship of Rohan is: Mithril Child S.W., (or Mithril Child, Ship of the Westron).

A Micelhusl (Great Host) is a large unit of 12,000 men
It is divided into six Eored of 2,000 men each.

Theoden King's Army at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields on March 15th of the 3,019th year of the Third Age, was 6,000 men even though he expected around 12,000. A half Micelhusl like this is sometimes called a "Bristwen" (for "garbrist cliewen" or "daring group" in Old English, if I have the word pattern correct.)

Rohan, at the beginning of April in the 1,899th year of the Sixth Age, had an estimated total of 624,000 men in 52 Micelhusls between Rohan and New Beleriand.
