Alright what have we got:
1 BP and 11 IC finished.
Think I finished off new naval artillery, sub, A/C, and mechanization techs.
Laying down a new aircraft carrier, new light cruiser, and the usual host of lighter stuff.
Adding a couple of coastal defence points to complete Coast Watch coverage in North America and add to the defences in the Caribbean.
Often times I don't open up and look at turns until the Colony Count process.
I was amused to find your Build rates sheet :)
I've done the same. Plus I've looked at build->launch times, including the dock clearance with an eye towards 'mass' production and spamming out small hulls. I don't recall if I've put that into practice though.
I added that sheet because I sometimes throw in placeholders for stuff I expect to build and can visualize/estimate but haven't actually simmed.
Build times have generally not been an issue but the current battleships are a rare example of launching right at the end of a turn and thus needing turnaround for the dock in the next turn. Fortunately or unfortunately, I'm not building a lot of battleships at the moment.
My somewhat junk solution is that while a ship may launch and then get fitted out from slips, all the RAN is built in drydock so the whole ship is completely done before it leaves dock.
I float a fair number of my ships out, but many are in dock beginning to end.
All I have is docks and everything floats out when launched.
