By the end of 1923H1, all ships had been updated to 1918 Fire Control.
Beginning in early 1927 and completing by June 1928, all fifteen ships were refit. The gun armament was completely refreshed; the newer 140L40 taking the place of the older L55, a quad 28mm AA gun mount was added. Additionally, the torpedo armament was altered to 4x610mm tubes in a quad mount.
