I'm not understanding the layout here: 2 centerline turrets, 2 wing turrets, 1 raised turret. How's that work?
IMO, not enough 13cm guns, the 8cm's are too light to stop destroyers and with only 4 guns per beam the ship lacks sufficient anti-light ship firepower. The 60mm end armor seems too light: too light to shatter a large-caliber HE round, and yet heavy enough to fuze an AP or base-fuzed HE round. Torpedo bulkhead is really narrow and thin.
Also, under the N4.5 fuel rules, I think she needs to be 90% coal still, at least I never saw an official change to allow 80% at 1910.
What's all the miscellaneous weight for??

Do you know that the SpringSharp manual lists Dreadnought itself with a raised turret? Because the forward one is higher than the rest. Maybe that's the reason?
Yep, A-turret is raised to fire over the for'castle

Thanks. That originated from not wanting to have casemate mounts directly under heavy guns. This lead to the small number of heavy secondaries that KWorld noted. As designed they were 150mm guns, but I decided to go with 130mm instead. Tho I am not a fan of asymmetric layouts normally, I quite like the look here.
So, Princess Royal's going to be a replacement Invincible, with a layout more like Von der Tann?
This is the design in my first post, not a N5 one. She was going to be the first of the Royal Angelic Navy battlecruisers. No relation to the Princess Royal of OTL

Ah, OK. The name, without a country code in front of it, threw me since you have the UK.....
I understand the confusion. If it is here, there is very little likelyhood of it ever getting built in N5

You ever look back at an old design and go "What was I doing with this?"
Dauntless class, ANZAC Light Battlecruiser laid down 1935
Actually, since I have some designs like this, I know what you were doing.
It's got an extremely long range, and a high speed in all seaways.
She decisively outguns any treaty cruiser while being immune to return fire.
The 16ft high end belts make her immune to HE or SAP hits, meaning any hit will be AP and will make an entry hole that's pretty easy to plug.
The deck is more than enough for any 1930s bomb, as is the TDS.
Anything short of a full 35000+ battleship can't stop her. The extra protection means she's hard to slow down or cripple without a full battleship.
Raiding, cruiser killing, tip and run, carrier guard - she can do it all, and you can afford 3 for every 2 Treaty BBs.
My versions had quad 2T4 9.4" and were a little slimmer, but I was looking at such as my "Low" BBs for my WesWorld Dutch. I figured I could field a Division of 45,000 ton 8x17" BBs, with a bunch of my version to round out the battleline. Wasn't sure I wanted to commit to that though, just something I had been exploring.
