Yes! I convinced him to come back! Yay!
For those of you that don't know, I was trying to get him back to take over "Poland"(Ukraine)

Dude!

I heard you weren't able to post - yet I'm not aware of fixing any problems.  What gives?

Turns out I'm slow.
There is a firewall program installed on my computer, it kind of refuses to cooperated with Mozilla Firefox. I just needed to turn it off.

I already apologised to Maddox for wasting his time.

Ok now that I'm here...

Where Do You want me???

Ok now that I'm here...

Where Do You want me???

To the best of my knowledge the following nations are open for use:

Definately:
Ukraine (w/ some OTL Poland)
Russia
New Zion (Jewish state in Eastern Afrika, OTL Uganda, southern Sudan, SW part of Ethiopia)
Firenj (Muslim state in western Australia)
l'Indochine (South Viet'nam)
Burma
Siam (Includes most of Laos too)
Netherlands

Possibly: All have had players recently who may still intend to return
Egypt (including all of Sudan not in Zion) - Ciders was playing, AWOL since 12/15/09, last post 11-15-09
United Norman Kingdom (England, Wales, most of Scotland, NE US down to Pennsylvania/Maryland line and west to Minnesota, Ontario) - Hooper82, AWOL since 03-09-10 but no posts since 02-08-10
Mexico (Minus some northern parts annexed into CSA) - Bushranger (Swamphen) AWOL since 02-09-10, last post same

New Zion is not a good player nation, too small and with a crippling treaty that eliminates ANY opportunity for role-playing.

Ireland is open and despite being small possesses an ample army and submarine force. Its been relatively neutral and kept relatively up to date in technology by the Dutch and Baltic Confederation.

I want to recommend Ukraine, so we can see more of the woman submarine stories:(She bit my eye out!), but it is up to you. Just so you know, we go by halfs. A BP is like a factory output, 1,000 tons.

Ukraine has 11.5 BP, or 23,000 tons a year.
Russia has 17 BP, or 34,000 tons a year.
The Dutch have 19 BP, or 38,000 tons a year, although it could be more when you catch up. They have a BC based fleet, though, and no cruisers.

Those are the three main options, the others are really way too small unless you want to play it, like me. In the holes that should be filled, the Dutch are the worst, being the most invovled in world affair, but again, their wierd fleet strategy could be a distractant.

Wellcome Marek. I think that you would be the best man to take the Wielkie Ksi?stwo Kijowskie forward. You could play it as a Polska od Morza do Morza.
For the other people - the parts you probably don't understand are in Polish. Funny enough, I and Marek live in the same city ...

Maddox, you call a distance of at least 1200 km "not that far away"?!?
Title: Re: Welcome Back!!!

Depends. But if you're comparing the distance between Munchen and Warchau, or Brussels and Los Angeles, the first one is trivial.

At Borys, last time I played N-verse I got my country disassembled, do You want It to happen to Ukraine.

The Evil Crusading Empire of Iberia sends its welcome and greetings.  Now jut allow the inquisition unlimited access to whatever nation you play and all will be well.  ;)

Countries slipping into Red rule can be sure of Internationalist Assistance from the Friendly Habsburgs :)

An NPC Grand uchy of Kiev runs a higher risk of dismemberment than a PC country. In some way Kiev is my baby and I'd prefer this country to continue.

Honestly, Ukraine can be it. However, it has 'certain' dimplomatic problems with Romania right now, including the hijacking of a cruiser.

Honestly if you want a Nation that absolutly needs a player I would recomend the Dutch (Kingdom of the Netherlands or somthing like that) they have an all BC line, but tons of subs and DDs to boot.

Honestly were ever you want me I'll be there.
I'd prefer a Slav nations as I'm a Slav and playing In Character will be easier.
But I can play the "Dwarfen Republic of Behing the Rainbow" or some such If You want me too.
I have been accused of conducting "chaotic stupid" decisions regarding my nations, also my mastery of the English is limited. So heavy role play,as in immerse story telling is problematic. I write a elaborate story and people are asking "what happen?" my grammar is poor.
Dialogue based stories and short too the point informations is what I do competently.

After saying all that do You still want me?

The Ukraine would be a good spot. At least until you feel comfortable with N-verse half a billion rules.

The Dutch might need a player, but they will very very soon be embroiled in war. So unless you feel like fighting a war, don't pick them.

Not Romania. With my new somewhat good relations with the ESC, I can't afford it.

I think Ukraine is a good choice. Big nation for the NPC's, more than the RRC, and Slavic.

Marek. You haven't done anything choatic while I've been there besides the full-scale riot and the woman sub force.(MY EYES!)
Title: Re: Welcome Back!!!

Ukraine only trumps the RRC in BP production, but most nations do anyways. In all other respects, it is smaller than the RRC.

So Ukraine it is.

It will be a bother playing a power with two separate navies and now way to for one to support the other in case of war.
Plus it is a land power first with navy coming second in a Naval sim.

So I'm ready I wait Your acceptance for beginning.

With just Black Sea & Baltic, you could have short range ships.

WHOHOO!

The navy in the Baltic, Marek, has the equivelent of 2 CDBB from WW in it. Not that much. The wars are ment to be won in the south.

In the south, you have four BB's, good, Russian style BB's, and a BC.

Borys

Technically USA was a continental power entering late in naval game,Japan also.
Still neither had land neighbours to worry about when they got serious about navy.

Germany and France did create large potent navies with powerful land armies a stone throw away. Germany did that with poor strategic position.
Russian and later Soviets had strong navies with strategic positions so problematic it speaks for itself. They had to maintain 4(four) separate forces with its own supply and support bases.
My position is not all that bad.
