NS bids $1
Does it come with Goa-Goa dancers?
Rohan Briefly considers biding, then it is mentions that it is felt that exposure to the corupting influence of the Eye has made it unsuitable for Reasonable Governance.
A good reason to hand it over to Japan then. Japan successfully de-Swissified Hainan and Taiwan so it could definitely de-Eye Goa then. :)
... so Japan will be accepting $100 from the DKB for doing just that. ;D
The Colombians are looking into this with interest.
Even though the Esc is painfully aware that any offer will be neglected /rejected,the Esc still offers $35 ;D
And now they sold provinces ?
O tempora ! O mores ! ;D
While I'm not going to close this down until most likely Monday night, the current high bid is $450.
Me and my poor offer of $50, we are not cool. Damned rich capitalists ! >:(
There's a lot of goodies in this package. The high bid will probably get higher.
Holy! One has to be quite a nutter to bid that high for Eye infested territories. :o
Glorious France is tempted, but with the Experience from Kolkata in mind, declines any public discussion about aquiring such real estate.
Walter, Goa ain't Eye infested. Actualy, as Glorious France knows, the cult of the eye was eradicated at El Dorado.
It's a bargain compared to what Japan wanted for Hainan. Not that the Colombians would ever have asked about buying Hainan.

I'm impressed.
Anyway, next HY I'll spend 1 or 2$ on "feel safe in Parana" leaflets and transport.

Okay, I know that that has happened, but with what Tan said, I began to doubt it or perhaps that a group of wannabees tried to blow some life back into the Eye.
So no Eye gouging needed then. :D

That was the "you already have more than enough ICs, BPs and revenue" pricetag, especially for nations such as France, Gran Columbia and Rohan. :D

Sounds like you want the people to feel secure in an insecure part of the world. :)
QuoteThe Kingdom of Bharat considers the territory of Goa as its by natural right and that the people there are not slaves to be traded between imperialist powers. The government of his Majesty Chhatrapati Shahu IV, Maharaja of Bharat, will not look kindly on the sale of Goa.

This is exactly why I'm offering any willing Goan a free ticket to Parana.
Had I bought it, I'd garrison Goa with
- one wartime advanced infantry corps (recruited in Europe) - 1$
- two active advanced infantry corps (recruited locally) - 1$
- one wartime advanced light infantry corps (recruited in Bharat, Gujarat, Mughals, etc.) - 1$
200,000 men in wartime - yet I suppose I'd have to ship in reinforcements anyway - 5-6 weeks sailing time from Pola ...

Yes, but now you wouldn't have to go to war - you can sit back and let it come to you.
NS raises its bid to $1 and $1000 in monopoly money...
Ahoj!

... and let the BLOOD FLOW!
Nevertheless, I don't feel like pledging somehting in the order of 500$ for that province. That would be neglecting my present holdings.

Yikes. Though that is the cost of the IC and BP being sold...but yikes.

Well, if it would please His Majesty, we can leave Goa and remove all "Imperialist" objections. Of course this would include all non-native citizens and their families, all industrial infrastructure, and destroy all the military infrastructure.
Of course we would salt the earth, plant land mines, and take anything of value whether it was ours or not too

Bharat's government would like to make clear that it understands the statement of the Brandenburg Government. The Brandenburg government is considering destroying the industrial and economic infrastructure of the territory of Goa. What is to happen to the people of Goa after Brandenburg has destroyed their way of making a living?
The CSA says they will adopt them, or blow up Bharat. ;D

The same thing that would have happened to them if not for the grace of the Brandenburg Government in the first place. They'll go back to being backwater farmers and sheep herders, just as they would have been if not for our financial investment in the province. The Government of Bharat expresses such concern for it's "lost peoples" yet makes no offers for the province, only threats both veiled and open. We find this most disturbing and depressing.
I will post something on this tommorrow

If you blow something up there, just make sure to make it look like the Swiss did it. :)
Bidding is closed. Winner is *CENSORED* with a bid of *CENSORED*, sorry conditions of sale.
