If you plan to kick your BBs to 26 knots why bother building the 27 knot BC? Personaly I see no reason for general line units to need to be faster than 22 knots at this point.
You may be rigth ,I could wait till 20 and build this after the planned enlargement to a type 4 slip in Hamburg, then F#¤k Bc`s ;D ;D:

Rohan already more or less said Piss on BCs (my newest pair of them are realy just fast BBs) Personaly I wouldnt pack that many guns on one ship, but then again Turret farms scare me.
You have mounts on the side that are superfiring, and no superfiring for guns on the centerline. Not to mention that a 16'' gun on the side is fairly dangerous. How about 5 turrets, 2 superfiring, with one in the middle of the smokestacks, all triples.
Ups ;) ;)

I prefer the 5x2x35cm version.
You can have four of the smaller ships for the price of three of the 16" vessels.
And I LOVE pyramids of turrets!

I decided to limit myself to eight (appologies to Ledepper for thread hijacking :))
There a cutesy pyramids fore and aft, with the two turrets in the centre on deck level.

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
53 583 lbs / 24 305 Kg = 40,8 x 13,8 " / 351 mm shells or 9,0 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,10
Metacentric height 6,9 ft / 2,1 m
Roll period: 17,6 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 55 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,59
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1,07
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has a flush deck
Block coefficient: 0,673
Length to Beam Ratio: 6,55 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 26,83 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 44 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 51
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 0,00 degrees
Stern overhang: 0,00 ft / 0,00 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 27,00 ft / 8,23 m
- Forecastle (20%): 17,00 ft / 5,18 m
- Mid (50%): 17,00 ft / 5,18 m
- Quarterdeck (15%): 17,00 ft / 5,18 m
- Stern: 17,00 ft / 5,18 m
- Average freeboard: 17,80 ft / 5,43 m
Ship tends to be wet forward
Ship space, strength and comments:
Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 87,7%
- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 133,5%
Waterplane Area: 61 957 Square feet or 5 756 Square metres

Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is adequate
Room for accommodation and workspaces is excellent
if 9 turrets will fit?? why not 12 - how about on the wings too
4 pyramids of 3 twins - fore, aft and each side - perfect symmetry ;D - and 24 main guns !!!
guess would have to be smaller calibre on just 720' - and quite wide beam - but early German BBs had 2 wing turrets each side - 13" calibre possible?
