Due the war in the Americas the Admirality announced that the Armoured Frigate HMS Kortenaar and the Sloops HMS Zoutman and HMS Atjeh will be sent to Suriname. This move is to ensure the protection of Netherland citizens and property form any 'overflow' in the war zone. They will conduct patrols between Suriname and the Netherlands Antilles. They are not there to provoke any actions but to maitain Netherlands neutrality.

Rohan will respect the Netherlands neutrality and attempt to contain the war zone, and (in modern terms) take care to minimize collateral damage.
