December 1914

The shocking news of  Zoinist involvement in the murder of Pope Pius X led to much public outcry in Catholic parts of the Realm. Popular anger was initially occasionaly vented at Jews, not only at known leftist sympathayzers, but official intervention quickly put an end to the former.
There have been many, and uncoordinated, voices for beatification of Pius due to being martyred for the Faith.

The Empire will provide a battleship, a cruiser squadron and maybe a few smaller vessels to an international punitive expeditionary force directed against the Jewish National Socialists. This force would include a brigade of the AFL.

Due to the esuing tension in Africa, the forces in Parana will be partialy mobilised. The overseas province will be visted by a battleship division at around Christmass.

The forces in the Balkans will be as ever vigilant, but no change in their status is planned at this time.

Apparently it took a while to manufacture evidence pointing in the required direction - at least that's the reaction from some Orange circles.

The SMS Siligia, while taking on stores at Pola before the trip to Taranto to link up with the Imperiale Marina, took on more HE and CAP shells than usual. The APC shells were limited to 20 per gun, versus  30 CAP and 40 HE. An extra 5 HE shells and charges per gun are taken above the normal limit, already in the ammunition train to the guns.

Between Christamass and New Year

In case of hostilities in East Africa, the Habsburg fleet will carry out trade protection patrols in the Atlantic. Colonial avisos and possibly cruisers will be on permanent cruises from Desterro to Ilha do Maio. The objective is to provide a safe lane for Habsburg and neutral traffic.
