Planned railroad connecting the coal mines in Rio Turbio to Rio Gallegos and Puerto Natales. The little section shooting off Southward towards El Zurco and Puerto Curtze is Austrian, as is the red line. Is in narrow gauge. (I know NOTHING about RRs, so I don't even know what gauge "narrow gauge" is.)

The nefarious and corrupting Habsburg influence makes this particular narrow gauge to be 762mm/2'6"/30inches
The distance of the Puerto Natales - Rio Gallegos bit is 300km, and that of the Habsburg link is 150km.
The railroad building season in the part of the world starts in October, and ends in April.
The Rio Turbio-Peurto Gallegos route was chosen as being less exposed to blizzards ...
