I just moved, and the internet wasn't working well, so with not much else to do I started fiddling with SS2. With all those new battleships running around, I tried to see what NS* would be looking at. Basiclly it's Ise on steriods.
*Since New Zion doesn't have a snowball's chance in Phoenix of building this sucker. Heck even a scale model would use up a year's worth of materials! ;D
Artist conception (OTL Hyuga), interestingly it looks Swiss:

However, the KKK finds the following faults:
- underarmoured
- very small reserve of Stability
She is interesting. The CSA has been working on something similar, if not as fast.
I wonder if she wouldn't benefit from a little less length and a little more beam. Accepting one less gun, or a knot or two less speed would allow a lot more protection too, not that the Swiss seem interested in extra armor.
Also, in the CSA's design studies, we've found that the real stability killer is lots of superimposed turrets with thick barbette armour.
Gran Colombia had been considered a variant of the current Furioso class with a sixth turret, as also seen above and in the Triunfante design. Stability and steadiness were so-so; however, it was cost that nixed the idea.
