I really dislike the huge range this ship has as it screws with her light and standard displacement but Misc weight was as high as I could push it and not cause the ship to be in danger of tipping over from a stiff breeze.

I thought that the 12kton of fuel and Misc weight simulated equipment, and not actual fuel.
If so a tender would need 10kton fuel and misc and then any fuel needed for the ship itself.
If I am wrong I think se is a alright ship for the purpose, without and real flaws or strengths.
I don't know on that point... the rules said 12K so I put got a total of near 12K.

Springsharp doesn't sim merchants very well.
That is why Van Owen came up with the alternative solution of the misc weight/range exchange.
Combined with the need for coliers, tenders and assorted support ships, it came to me, as new moderator for the nverse II, that it was "better " to Springsharp a lightly armed and armored vessel with reasonable misc weight and a huge load of coal/oil to get a useable ship.
High cruise speed and/or huge range will fill in that part.
