Anyone have any amount of scrap for sale in H2/1908 or H1/1909?
I mean any useful amount, no matter what the source! I'll take anything from obsolete armored cruisers to barely floating torpedo boats. As long as it adds up to .5 BP or greater total recoverable materials, I'm a willing buyer.
Rates are negotiable, preferably in the 18-20% range.

The Netherlands is offering 35% of full value for scrap! ;)
So if you have any ships that need scrapping, and want to get some extra money out of them, make Rotterdam your first stop!
Dirty bastage.
See if I sell YOU anything coming off active duty. :P
35% is just short of insane... of course, you are in dire straits.
Just try not to outbid me in my own thread next time... will ya? ;)
No hard feelings... I just didn't expect to get outbid. :)

LOL... well, being as you ARE at war and all, I guess it can be overlooked. 8)
You wanna build some new fleet units.
Me, I'm just looking for scrap to build new patrol craft and subs.
Quite a bit of difference there.
The CSA graciously differs all offers to the Netherlands for first bid at whatever rate they see as sufficient.
Well you could sell some of your ships to NS, that could stop the Dutch from overbidding. ;)
NS is willing to offer 40% for scrap, or else help subzidize Neutrals purchasing scrap.
I don't need the stuff (well I do, but not critically) just want to keep it out of enemy hands.
Why, thank you, Foxy! Yes, you may subsidize my purchase of scrap materials, so that I may pay for Furioso, Glorioso, Warrior, and Avenger.
And my new submarines and destroyers also need a sponsor!
You can help pay for those as well!
The Swiss are so helpful! I can't imagine why half the world's population wants them annihilated!
If you accept their help, you'll be selling your soul to the Devil. That's all those Demons want in exchange for helping you out: Your soul and the souls of your citizens! :)
... and because of that, it should be no suprise that half the world's population wants them annihilated. :D
I am SOOO tempted to sell the twenty TB-1889's... odds are I would never get as much money for them as now... Oh well I need the BP's for when I scrap them down the road.

I'm telling you, there's something wrong with half the world! ;D
No other country has invested so much money in other countries as NS, without asking for repayment.

I'll actually do it, if the alternative has them ending up in enemy hands. Fact is I offered the UKN to pay more money than the DKB for them to keep their ships. But the Normans are poor salesmen, they decided $14 and no ships was better than $16 and 2 ships.
The Japanese aren't much better, instead of staying neutral and bringing in profit, they decided to join and lose ships. ;)
The Japanese haven't lost any ships that I've heard of, and in the mean time, they seem to have secured a good chunk of territory once the war is over.
Ah yes its OOC, but they just lost one of their newer Battleships.
I will look forward to the battle report.
The skyrocketing scrap prices have raised eyebrows around the world. In several Neutral countires a review of current fleet needs is being carried out.
