Well, I'm building a series of cruisers and armored cruisers specifically for high speed tilts to sweep the area behind the enemy battleline for support vessels such as oilers and carriers.  Who knows, others may emulate and those torpedoes may be seen as a wise concept.

The quote is notes to myself that I should have scrubbed.

There's a hundred tonnes for command facilities split between freeboard deck and above deck.

The torpedos are something to throw at pursuers.  This is probably the last class they'll be in.

It's a pretty good 1100 tonner.

Difficult size range to manage.

I just can not fit all the things I want to on a 1000 ton hull,
or the 1100 ton- that was the starting point for the Gurg/Vakharz classes.
The replacement Saihgus is 11% larger than those but 15% larger than this.

On the carrier, a
What is the reasoning on the fixed aft torpedoes?
And what does the -50 +50 for Flag facilities mean?

Quote from: The Rock Doctor on May 04, 2024, 04:05:02 PMAnd I want 232 + 100 (is original) Flag + LR/HD/NF 75 above deck
and at least 30 on the deck okay it's 53

Overall it seems a redoubtable vessel.
I'm not keen on the 50mm class for AA, but given the time frame, I can
see the same reasons that led to Parthia fielding the 57mm for a while.

The quoted passage I'm failing to puzzle out the meaning.

1932.0 Parthian Turn Summary - now with a fleet count under active navy.

As it looks like the max file attachment size has increased to 384kb,
so I'll try attaching the 'draft' with the autocalc formulas, as opposed to the final where the tabs have been copy & 'paste as text' to get down to 211kb.
...ok trying that I get the warning message Max attachment size is still 256kb, so back to the non-autocalc version.

Economics
Complete 1 BP in Parthia
Complete 1 IC in Parthia
Complete 1 Enclave ICs
Complete 3 territorial ICs

$20 to Azteca as Princess Shirin's Dowry.
This marks the 4th and last installment of $80.

Type 1932 Korweta

The Union is getting back to korwetas after a pause of a few years as it built up an inventory of coastal escorts and harbour defence boats.  The korweta is well-armed for its size and capable of operating in open oceanic conditions...to a point...but lacks the endurance to actually cross oceans.

As many as twenty could be built over the coming years as the navy replaces the big old batch of vintage patrol cutters in home waters and augments its patrol groups in various colonial settings.
