Title: USS North Carolina tour photos
Post by: snip on May 20, 2018, 02:26:20 PM
A guy I play WoWS with was lucky enough to get to go on a couple extensive tours of the North Carolina and was kind enough to share the pictures with me. The albums are his, first (https://imgur.com/a/JZcKz) and second (https://imgur.com/a/2xQmDov).

That's a great batch of pics.
I've been in the Alabama but I didn't get to see as much and I don't recall the placards being as informative.
North Carolina looks good !

One of these days I will have to get over to the USS Blueback and drive someone nuts taking pictures of everything. I've got a copy of some construction prints on the wall of my office.

There's a number of vessels tied up down in San Francisco, including a sub, a liberty ship, and a clipper.
..but I've never wandered around those.
I did overnight on the Essex class USS Hornet across the bay, and the USS Intrepid in NYC harbor is pretty nifty too.
