1932.0 Parthian Turn Summary - now with a fleet count under active navy.

As it looks like the max file attachment size has increased to 384kb,
so I'll try attaching the 'draft' with the autocalc formulas, as opposed to the final where the tabs have been copy & 'paste as text' to get down to 211kb.
...ok trying that I get the warning message Max attachment size is still 256kb, so back to the non-autocalc version.

Type 1932 Korweta

The Union is getting back to korwetas after a pause of a few years as it built up an inventory of coastal escorts and harbour defence boats.  The korweta is well-armed for its size and capable of operating in open oceanic conditions...to a point...but lacks the endurance to actually cross oceans.

As many as twenty could be built over the coming years as the navy replaces the big old batch of vintage patrol cutters in home waters and augments its patrol groups in various colonial settings.

Jednosc Class Tall Ship

And here we have a tall ship for sail-training, which is of course a valuable skill in 1932, and for the pleasure of the queen, which is also somewhat relevant.  Much of the design and the graphics borrow closely from the German Gorch Fock.

It's full rigging, which makes for a maximum speed of just under 11 knots.  A small diesel-electric drive provides considerable cruising range if everybody gets tired of working the rigging or sea conditions are too iffy.

The ship does not carry a long-range wireless or anything beyond navigational lighting, and is armed solely with a pair of QF guns that are mainly in place for saluting purposes.  I suppose I could design for but not equip with a few machine guns for port security purposes.

As far as I can tell, I've complied with our guidelines for full rigging, but feel free to check me on that.  There's lots of hull strength to fix up incorrect miscellaneous weights if need be.

Given that I went to the trouble of sketching this thing, it's a given that I'll lay her down.

Hydry Class Aircraft Carrier

The Hydrys are heavier and better protected than the Centaury class, with a larger airgroup.  The sternchaser gun has been deleted in favor of a heavier flank battery, the space being used for a substantial overhang of the flight deck instead.

Ship Designs / Re: Vilnius Union Ships, 1930+...

An alternate refit of Szermierz, which retains the main battery and the small tertiary battery (starshell, saluting, etc), while replacing the secondaries with DP mounts and adding a hefty light AA suite.

New fire control, wifi, nightfighting doodads, and a Huelsmeyer Device/early radar installation are also added.  A single scout plane and catapult are parked on the stern - the usual Union practice of installing these amidships is impractical on account of the three closely spaced funnels.

Cost is:  $0.98/0.715BP

And I want 232 + 100 (is original) Flag + LR/HD/NF 75 above deck
and at least 30 on the deck okay it's 53

So that's 232 +75+53 = 360 MW
