MS-14, Laksmanavati Coastal Minesweeper, laid down 1924

The MS-14 class was intended to replace the MS-8s in coastal waters, freeing the larger ships for fleet operations. The MS-14s could still function as sub chasers and light minelayers along the coast, although their payloads were much smaller. Ten boats were constructed (MS-14 through MS-23).

A subclass of the MS-14 class, the M-24s added a twin 40/39 AA gun aft and installed an improved hyrdophone set. Ten ships were initially constructed (MS-24 through MS-33) with no additional MS-14s expected to be laid.
