Well, there is some combination of keys/touchpad on my laptop that cancels posts.

ARGH

I had a long discussion about this turn written up, and had wandered off to talk about the conceptual structure of staffing my reserve (Auxiliary) forces - basically 1 vessel staffed by older regulars who get cross-trained, 3 others unstaffed. When activated, regulars disperse as cadres with brevet ranks in critical slots and reservists round out the ranks.

Anyhow, this turn was mostly worked up at the end of September.
I think I had the $ and BP allocated, and was trying to update the colony count and # rich/poor/normal provinces. I think there are 18 provinces missing, which given my army and deployment points doesn't matter a ton. But I believe there's 2-3 rich provinces in that mix I can't build on until I figure out where they are.

I also borrowed from Rocky the idea of splitting the fleet and construction aspects, so made a new Active Fleet tab,
which I am slowly making into an OOB tab as well.

Builds
1.5 BP, 1 Territorial IC
Finished 3 techs, a whole bunch of main battery and AA guns with 1925 tech
Built 2 x 50m DDs for supporting small craft.
Started a program to replace the MTB-As, with MTB-Fs, built 32
Continued the Motor Gun Boats
Finished 4 Subs
Finished 4 Sloops - last of 100 maritime patrol (aux) ships
1 each of the Gnat aux variants.
Finished the reconstruction of the Enki class
Spent funds for storyline changes to my Experimental Carrier - apparently trying something new
3 LP, 2 AP, 4 FP .

Anyhow now I can work towards getting in 1929 HY2 before 1930 HY1 is live !!
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

Oddly that makes me think of Inspector Gadget crossed with GO-BOTS/voltron combining to form a giant robot...

Anyhow, forgot to mention the completion of 4x Manban "Watchdog" class Escorts.

The lead vessel is on trials and seems to be working as expected.
The goal is to have about 16-20 of these, 4 per fleet.
These would then augment ASW, and if a sub contact was made, they would
be the vessels left behind to prosecute the signal, freeing the destroyers and fleet to continue.
As a result they are 500t cruiser builds with only a 19knot top speed, but are D-E to allow running on batteries, with a ASW howitzer and high DC loads of 75 charges.

The speed is indeed very slow, and there will be times they just get left behind....and plod along to catch up later.
