By the end of 1923H1, both ships had been updated to 1918 Fire Control.

In 1927H2, both ships were refit to the below standard. The torpedoes and secondary guns were replaced  with a modern AA battery and floatplane with catapult. Additionally, the Flag facilities were expanded at the expense of the Marine accommodations.
