the Statuto Albertino is the Constitution of the Kingdom of Italy.

In brief it establishes that there shall be:
King
Chamber of Deputies
Senate
Judiciary.

Further it elaborates as to the rights of the King and Government, as well as the people.

Constitutional Declarations.
All Citizens Equal before the Law, regardless of rank.
Roman Catholism is the State Religeon.
Freedom of Religeon was granted for all existing forms of worship, in conformity with the law.
The Church had sole authority over Christian literature.
Freedom of the Press, but the government was empowered to punish abuses of this freedom.
Rights of Habeas Corpus
Garauntees of Personal Liberty & inviolability of residence.
Right to Peacefully (and unarmed) assemble, subject to public welfare regulations.
Legislative power was exercised by King, Senate and Chamber of Deputies collectively
Executive Power was the King's alone.
Taxation could only occur with consent of King and Chamber of Deputies.
Public Debt was garaunteed
The Monarchy would pass by Salic Law
The King was to be "Sacred and Inviolable"


Additionally, the King is granted significant powers.
I. Appoint a Prime Minister of Choice, regardless of majority party.
II. Declare war as commander-in-chief of all the armed forces.
III. Conclude treaties of Peace, Alliance or Commerce or others. The King must Notify the Chamber of Deputies except where vital state interests/state security forbade it.
IV. Treaties constituting a financial burden or changes in territories mush be ratified by the Chambers.
V. Appoint all state officials.
VI. Promulgate laws, sign them into law, and issue the decrees and regulations for their implementation.
VII. Propose new legislation, as can the Chambers. Tax and Appropriation measures must originate in the Chambers.
VIII. Convene & Dismiss the Chambers.
IX Grant Clemency and commute sentences.
X. The King had personal ownership of his assets- palaces, villas, gardens, properties.
XI. Appoint qualified Senators for life.
XII. Appoint and dismiss Ministers.
XIII. Appoint Judges
XIV. Create new Orders of Knighthood and establish their statutes.
XV.  Create new titles of Nobility
