The Confederate States of America is a confederation in name, but a federal republic in practice. It generally supports any government which maintains friendly, respectful ties with it regardless of their form of government. In general, the Confederacy adopts a 'live and let live' attitude on the world stage with two notable exceptions:

Rohan - Occasional co-belligerents due to sharing the same continental adversaries, the Confederacy shares a rather friendly relationship with Rohan. The recent Confederate friendship declaration to Rohan- giving them first access to all Confederate technological breakthroughs and equipment to be sold- is hoped to cement this relationship even further.

Democratic Republic of Mesoamerica
- Still viewed as a threat to the Confederacy and Rohan, this nation is guilty of aiding Socialist elements within the Confederacy in the past and is suspect in several recent incidents as well. The Confederacy does not attempt to hide the opinion that a socialist state on it's souther border aiding internal socialist cells would constitute a threat to internal security.

With all other nations, the Confederacy takes a 'wait and see' attitude, though it in general opposes socialism and can be expected to offer at least some help to any nation involved in a conflict with socialists, especially attempted socialist overthrows.

We'll come an' 'ave a romp with you whenever you're inclined.
