Alliance Assistance Treaty between France, Dutch & Iberians Governements

ARTICLE 1  GENERAL.
The High Contracting Parties (hereafter, "Parties") mutually promise peace and friendship amongst themselves. 
The Parties acknowledge the legitimacy of the other Parties' current government structures and leadership.
The Parties acknowledge the aspirations of the other Parties' peoples for a peaceful and economically prosperous relationship between all Parties.

ARTICLE 2.  ACCESS PROVISIONS
Military and civilian vessels belonging to all Parties shall have the right to replenish stores, fuel, and other materials in each others' ports.  Civilian vessels shall have the right to load or unload their cargoes in each others' ports but shall remain subject to the host's customs requirements.

ARTICLE 3.  MILITARY DEFENCE AGAINST THIRD PARTY AGGRESSION
Should one High Contracting Party, without direct provocation on her part, be attacked by a third party for any reason whatsoever, the other High Contracting Parties shall be bound to lend full political, military, and economic assistance to the Party attacked.

ARTICLE 4.  RESPONSE TO THIRD PARTY PROVOCATION
Should one High Contracting Party, as a result of provocation by a third party, find itself obliged to make war upon that third power, the other High Contracting Parties shall observe towards their ally a benevolent neutrality.  The neutral High Contracting Parties reserve the right to take part in the war, if they should see fit, to make common cause with their ally.

ARTICLE 5.  AGREEMENTS BETWEEN PARTIES
The Parties agree to engage in an exchange of ideas on political and economic questions of a general nature which may arise, and they further promise one another mutual support within the limits of their interests.
They agree to consider information and technology sharing agreements and economic investment opportunities.  Such agreements may be considered as separate treaties or as addendums to this document, as the Parties see fit.
Technologies exchange or gifts are currently usual between the parties.

ARTICLE 10.  DURATION
The present Treaty shall remain in force for the duration of ten years, dating from the day of the ratification by the thirth Party to do so.
