The Zulu fever is a real pandemic now. All countries are suffering.
React accordingly....

Not to be rude or anything, but...is this really necessary? We just had a volcano pop off two years ago and cause global weather problems.

I have enough trouble finding the time to write about the stories/ideas I come up with on my own, and more trouble reading the fine work posted by other folks that happens not to be directly relevant to whatever crisis I happen to be coping with at the time (i.e. Middle Kingdom). This is not going to help any.

How much trade do you do with Africa? That will deturmine you contact level. You figure the Brandenburgians aren't going to let ot get far into their empire, so that should block the spread into the Pacific.

Basically do what Chile did in Wesworld, close off traffic coming from infected areas, and ignore it otherwise.

The DKB enacted quarantine requirements for outbound shipping from Afrika when the first cases reached the coast.

I should note that the epidemic was my idea but limited to Orange. Maddox wanted to decrease population levels in some overpopulated areas (Azores, IC). He wanted to use the harsh winter for it but he missed the time. So the disease should take more victims with ridiculously high populated places, with others less affected.

Would 71,200,000 people in Rohan and Gondor be considered overpopulated? (17.8 MP after 1904-05 bonus)

The illness is, as P3D says, an story plot line.

It can generate ideas.

I would call it a matter of the N-verse, without strings, unless wanted.

Ahoj!
I think yes.
There are other candidates, IMO - Ottomans and the DKB, for instance. Namibia (8 frigging MILLION, whereas there should be 80 THOUSAND, 800,000 being FUTURISTIC smile.gif)

ADDED A MOMENT LATER:
You all knew about the Harsh, Long Winter, lasting from early November onwards. The DKB and Gra Colombia I can understand, but Rohan, UKA, Russia, Ottomans did not do ANYTHING about it.
Outlying villages cut off by snow, freezing and starving to death - after havng eaten their oxen, horses, cows; urban riff-raff same.
Example - half of Rohan's precious Tribesmen could well be dead, same as half of their precious horse herds.
The death toll in nothern countries should be in the hundereds of thousands, if not millions.

The UKA actually lost 1MP, 4 million people, which In my opinion, brought the UKA population down to 22million people, which I say is a realistict level.

According to thissite, the population of the Entire USA was, in 1905 over 80million people, now split 3 ways, that still leaves the UKA with more than 22million using these figures. It must also be remembered that the populations would have recieved a boost with the fall of Normandy, around 100years back, and thus the population should probably be above the average.

Ahoj!
I did not notice the UKA loss. I retract my comment.
