Anyone know what happened to damocles? He hasn't posted since early December...

I think he got pissed off when the Mods refused to overrule Snip as to him cutting off the Dutch's twig and berries as far as the MK goes.

I'm just hoping it wasn't medical complications from his accident.
He came back, but it sounded pretty like a pretty bad one.
But no, I doubt he'd be happy with the eviction of the Dutch.
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

As an aside, he was just on yesterday..so maybe he's just having writers block.

O he knows about that, and was none to happy about it.<sarcasm> That was fun to deal with.</sarcasm>

Heh, well player changes have effected my relations with Romania, the Netherlands, Mughals, Ireland and the Ukraine. An initial relationship with the UNK languished after that player left. We'll see about Italy going forward.  It does become..vexing.

Myself I am in a holding pattern.  I am simply unwilling to invest the time to do my next turn as there is no sign the game is going to go anyplace.  I stop by twice a day or so to see whats going on but thats about it.

I'm trying to resolve some Ukrainian-related issues before I can proceed. Damocles's Dutch can potentially factors into my 1920 news in a couple ways and effect relations with ESC and Niger, and potentially Prussia, so that is a barrier. Likewise events in Italy/UNK matter.

I need to verify what exactly my deals with France/Iberia/Italy result in this turn..and for that matter the terminal dates for the Iberian/Italian deals. I should probably have an encyclopedia page for those...ahh hindsight. Lastly I'm really reticent to deal with the changes in air forces so I am in no hurry to fill out my turn.

I am willing to consider our deal concluded with 1919 H2.  So you are free in 1920.

I'm a bit rattled by the need to change my spreadsheet... considering I'm not certain how to change it to reflect the aircraft rules changes.

It's just I forgot to save the various PMs, so I actually don't know. I thought the Iberian one ran through 1920, and the Italian 1921...

I'm still waiting until I know what state my forces are in, so I know how much to spend on them, so I can do my economic sim report.

Also, my computer chose to go into the "bluescreen on startup" death cycle, so I've not had the opportunity to write much. Alas.

Its possible but I am not going to sort through a 1000 PM's to find it.

Hmmmm...

It appears that I need to do some more work... and stop playing my new computer game...  :'(

I need to get Laertes his Army sheet Its almost done, I need to catch the UNK up through 1920 and I need to handle Italy until such time as we can find a player for them.

So we can expect some action on some of that in the near future.   Which should speed things up.

Doh! this reminds me, there is a guy here who seemed interested when I told him about this. I should go and actually show him the site. ;D
