Well, not so fast. But it is approaching, which means it's time for bonus nominations. If you think a player has done something of particular distinction, be it a well executed storyline, enjoyable role-play, fantastic ship designs, well-engineered illustrations, or just plain actions for the good of the sim, please either post your nominations here, or if you aren't comfortable with that, feel free to PM them to me.

Hmmmm.... and the Oscar goes to....

Ok,

Saclme - for one hell of a good treaty that we will probably not use but will keep in storage just in case.

Miketr - For Interesting Stories about Pirates and the owner of a white persian cat.

Rocky but he is running away - for patients above and beyond the call  of duty while in hand to hand combat with 2 wars.

Guinness - For turning the Ottoman and Mughal Empires into something and making it interesting while doing so.

Maddox - For Poisoing Woodrow Wilson er for interesting stories.

DesertFox Form making me help him break a pirate out of jail and utterly causing chaos and providing a fleet to shoot at. ;)

Lets see  you all know who is doing all the pictrues so well that really isnt my area so you guys can nominate each other.

Hmmm Im sure their are some people I am missing right now I will ponder...

I think Darman realize a good work in Egypt, too. For the rest, I agree.
The only difference, between the balls of July 14th and the French Revolution, it is the size of firecrackers and the direction towards which we launch them.

I agree with ctwaterman on Mad, his story lines are fantastic to read. he also does a good job in integrating other players into it.

I also would like to nominate Carthaginian for all the OOC help he has given me in starting out.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.
-Siegfried Sassoon

Carthaginian

I appreciate it, Snip... but OoC is just that... I don't think I should get anything this time around- to many fits and starts on Confederate news, and too much left unsaid.
So 'ere's to you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, at your 'ome in old Baghdad;
You're a pore benighted 'eathen but a first-class fightin' man;
We gives you your certificate, an' if you want it signed
We'll come an' 'ave a romp with you whenever you're inclined.

But you've done better than I did at the CSA....that's something.

It's time to get cranking again. I've got 1920/1 reports ready for my nation(s), which I intend to post as soon as I hear from one player (*cough* Blooded *cough*). My guess is other players probably do too.

I've also got stories either written, outlined, or germinating in my head, but a combination of work, a stupid cable company, kids, germs brought home by kids, DK Brown's books being available cheap, ship model projects, my wife's demands for attention (see previous 2 items), and not being over Macho Grande have been sidetracking me.

So in other words, I'm trying to gin up motivation.

I can see no better way to motivate myself then post a deadline. Under normal circumstances, we've said we wanted each half to take 2 weeks real time. In practice, 3 weeks seems to be more reasonable.

So I'm imposing this deadline, since we've had time to work on 1/1920 forever now. Please post reports for 1/1920 by February 3. After that I hope to have moved past 2/1920 by the end of February, etc.
