Moving up in the world

With Rocky's planned exit, it's obvious to the mod team that we'd very much like to staff our largest most powerful nations wherever possible. If you are interested in "trading up" and you have a particular nation in mind, please pm me with what nation or nations you may be interested in moving up to and why, and we'll see where everyone fits. Similarly, if you'd like to move to a nation with more industrial capacity or a better (or at least more interesting) strategic situation, but the right nation doesn't seem open now, go ahead and PM me anyway. I suspect that what may result is a shuffle where player A moves to nation X, opening up nation Y for player B, etc.

I'd prefer that we not post these requests here, mostly to avoid any arguing about who belongs where in public and the attendant unpleasantness, but I'm leaving this thread open for now in case anyone has any questions about how this process is to work.
