QuoteBreaking news: Octopus picks Spain. Sorry Walter.
It better be right! I'd like for it to be nice and quiet here in this part of the world.

For your heat index calculating pleasure:

http://www.crh.noaa.gov/jkl/?n=heat_index_calculator

Houston today is forecasting 90F with a humidity of 61%. That works out to be a heat index of 100F.

Hmm doesn't work for me. Forecast high 59F, dewpoint 51F, relative Humidity 86%...just gave me errors.

Hmm, perhaps I should put my Wesworld Dutch hat on since the Security Agreement for Eastern Regions paid for it :)
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

SAER is something that isn't really present at our forum....

Heck, I'm all for Spain...of course, being 1/4th Spanish (Not Mexican!) does that to you.

The heat index is calculated only if the actual temperature is above 27 °C (80 °F), dew point temperatures greater than 12 °C (54 °F), and relative humidities higher than 40%.

So if it's not 80F, it's not valid anyway...

... in the mean time...
*turns on airco* :)

Airco and pollen did give me the nastiest cold I have had in years, I just recovered from it but boy did it hurt. I was actually deaf for 2 days ! (blocked Tubes of Eustachius thingy, you really really don't want to experience it...)

Besides, airco is something we have in the car. But on a nice crisp morning of 27°C I just open the windows, crank up the sound system, and play "Mein Herz Brennt" by Rammstein. Just gives me the coolest feeling !

Got strange looks from the other guys in the traffic jam though. Can't imagine why.  ;D

When I moved to the US I had constant neck pain for some months due to the everywhere present A/Cs.

The new album Liebe ist für alle da isn't bad and some of the video's were hilarious even if one was X Rated.

Ahoj!
As concerns Rammstein videoclips - it takes a twisted mind to come up with this one:

Sonne yah that was a good one.  Du Haste is the most well known in the US.  Benzin was a riot listening to the lyrics without a doubt an ode to Pyromania.
