Vacation

Probebly the worst time for me to be leaving....

Starting tommarrow, I will be on vacation for a week. There will be limited, if any, internet access, and I doubt I would be able to respond to any development while I am gone. Any information that ya'll want to send me or want to know should be sent today, so I can respond. I'm sending a few warplans to The Rock Doctor, depending on what happens in this round of simulations.

It is never a bad time to take a holiday. 

My main holiday this year starts 15 july at 3 am. From work direct in the van, drive to the Huge Airshow RIAT, play with the robots, watch planes. Travel back at monday, and tuesday 20th we go to mum in law for the next 10 days, putting on a new roof on the chalet, maybe redo the bathroom if time allows. In the mean time eating and drinking , reading and having a tad of time for the Nverse.

RIAT, eh? I'll be at Farnborough a week or so later. :) Just a long weekend for me though. My real holiday will be 5 weeks in August/begin September, though I have also a week in July. Coming weekend will be a long weekend as well with the Open Day of the Dutch Air Force. I expect that I will be taking lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of pictures this year with 3 airshows and the Japan Expo in Paris (not to mention the graves of many famous dead people at the Pere Lachaise cemetery). Two years ago, I took about +1200 pictures at Abbotsford. I would not be surprised if I were to top 5000 this year...

In other news today, we have received reports of a major coup in Romania. Details are sketchy, but it seems the new government has petitioned the Swiss Confederacy for entry, more details as they arrive...

And where exactly is the "4 corners region"?

The Four Corners Region is the only place in the United States where four states border in the same place. Those states are Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. It is illistrated on the map below.

I used to live there. Nice place but in the middle of nowhere. The 4 corners themselves are kind of a letdown and expensive.

Na, just Durango, and Mesa Verde, and some mountain hiking.  :)

Nice places both of them, but that's not really the four corners area. Arizona and Utah are the nice ones.
