The Romanovs in Karlstad/Copenhagen:

After their exile to Esc the former imperial family of Russia has lived a quiet life.

Especially Nicolai  Alexandrovich is well-like for his always friendly and positive

attitude, as it seems as if the abdication of the throne has lifted

an immense weight off his shoulders, even though his wife is nowhere as

well-liked as her husband, they are both warmly greeted by the citizens of Karlstad

when they take their daily strolls along the city's old fortifications.

The two oldest daughters: Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna is studying Biology at

the University of Karlstad

and as her younger sister Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaevna is studying as a

veterinarian at the former "Royal Academy of

Agriculture,

while her two younger sisters: Grand Duchess Maria Nikolaevna and

Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna  still attend "Gymnasium"(sort of high school

but at a slightly higher academic level).

But, alas their brother: Alexei Nikolaevichs health is slowly declining day by day, in

spite of the efforts of the finest Physicians in the Esc,and his commissioning as a

naval cadet has been postponed for the second time.
