Perhaps if the Holy Father might allow Ordained clergy to marry again?
Maybe this could temper the disagreements between West and East?

Hey... isn't it a little hot for that in here?
So 'ere's to you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, at your 'ome in old Baghdad;
You're a pore benighted 'eathen but a first-class fightin' man;
We gives you your certificate, an' if you want it signed
We'll come an' 'ave a romp with you whenever you're inclined.

There's one, in Durban IIRC. Some Orange Catholics assumed this was a deliberate insult, who expected the seat to go to Loanda.

There were discussion about putting a Cardinal in the Former Portugese Colony that was Seized er ... liberated from Portugal durring the dark years of 1904/06.

Given the historical settlements I had assumed most of the South African Area to be settled by Northern Germans [Protestants] so the number of Catholics would be small.  The Former Portugese Colony and the Former DKB Colony might very well have large Catholic Populations and large Native Catholic Populations.

I can and did see a problem between the way The Republic of Orange treated its natives and the way the Catholic church might have felt they should be treated.  All told I never did get around to righting a story about creating a Cardinal in Angola I believe it was????

Got you jefgte you were next on my list.

I needed more Cardinals outside of Italy and Europe not that adding even another half dozen from places that will be hard to reach Rome in time for a conclave will undo the Roman Curia prominence in any election but it atleast looks better :)

Tan I took Rohan to be a realitively clean bunch of Ancestor and tree worshiping Pagans.   I mean anyone who dislikes worshipers of the Eye as much as Rohan does cant be all bad but unless Rohan allowed free access to Protestant and Catholic missionaries I just dont know.

Oh I have both those pages book marked Mike.... ;)

Now going into 1920's this is the numbers not the names of all the Cardinals the list is still under construction by Country...

Roman Curia - 22 [I added 1 Curia Cardinal]
Italy - 13 [1 over 80 years old]
France - 6 [1 in Quebec]
Bavaria - 2
Iberia - 7 [ 1 in Brazil and one 80 years old]
Belgium - 1
Habsburgs - 4
UNK - 3 [ 1 in Boston and 1 in Philadelphia]
Poland/Ukraine - 3
Ireland - 1
CSA - 1 [New Orleans]
GC - 3 [One 79 years and counting]
Orange - 1
NUS - 2
Japan - 1
ESC - 1 [Koln/Cologne]
========================
Total: 72

Hmmm I may have 1 to many but I will find the errant one eventually....
Now barring the creation of any more Cardinals and only replacing those who die between now and the next election and yes Mike has given the date away... 1922.
This is a good estimate of who will have how many votes in the next election.

And our apologies to Borys but their is still now Veto and Peitro Mafi is still alive and spry.... :o

DKB needs to create 2 and I will have to look at the populations of the NUS and GC again to determine how many they need.

Adolphus Cardinal Pfaff Archbishop of Neue Bayern, born 1856. (Major city is Neue Kiel.)

AND

Johann Cardinal Ehrlichmann Archbishop of Neue Preußen, born 1862. (Major city is Neue Brandenburg.)

Also, if it pleases his Holiness, it has been decided, after providing financial support for the construction of Cathédrale Notre-Dame de l'Est, that a similar structure would be beneficial to the peoples of Brandenburg and we would seek approval from the Holy See to start construction sometime in 1920-21 after plans have been finalized.
