Looks like you can get a Hasegawa Alabama on e-bay and elsewhere for around $35. If you need the instructions that may not be too much to pay...

Although, if your assembly is mostly done, you can probably just follow the USN camo method for the era you're looking for: http://www.shipcamouflage.com/usn_bb.htm

It looks like the choices are measure 12 (mod) or measure 21, which would be relatively easy (only two colors, probably minimal masking). Measure 21, FWIW, is my favorite, which is why certain CSA ships were illustrated wearing it.
