DKB Statement on New Swiss - Middle Kingdom War

 WHEREAS, the Second Reich is allied to the United States of New Switzerland and Australia;

WHEREAS, the Second Reich has entered into a Non-Agression and Trade Agreement with the Middle Kingdom;

and WHEREAS, the United States of New Switzerland and Australia and the Middle Kingdom are preparing for war against each other;

LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the Second Reich encourages the United States of New Switzerland and Australia and the Middle Kingdom endeavour to peacefully resolve their differences; the Middle Kingdom recognising the control of the Disputed Ports (ooc: Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macau) by the United States of New Switzerland and Australia, and the United States of New Switzerland and Australia agreeing to pay a reasonable lease fee for the use and possession of the Disputed Ports;

and LET IT ALSO BE RESOVED, that given the conflicting obligations on the Second Reich, as a result of Treaties entered into by this Government, the Second Reich shall remain Neutral in any conflict between the United States of New Switzerland and Australia and the Middle Kingdom;

HOWEVER any citizen of the Second Reich shall offer his services to either the United States of New Switzerland and Australia or the Middle Kingdom, in any capacity, without interference or consequence from this Government.
