They say we'll get some snow in Atlanta too. There will surely be riots over toilet paper on the 11 o'clock news.

Heh, one of my New York cousins specifically wanted to live places that were not cold. Went to Vanderbilt, graduated, moved to Atlanta...and the city was hit by a decent snowstorm that winter.  Now of course she lives in Texas.
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

See Proof of Global Warming... (even if it fails to explain record lows in places like Wyoming and Montana last year)

The warmer the planet is as a whole, the more energy is in the atmosphere. Since that's where we get wind from, that means we get more of that - which in turn is energetic enough to drive climate systems that start at a given latitude farther from home.

...I wish we had more snow here in WV. I like snow.

Today day was a sunny day and I live in New York.... If I remember right its only been cold for two days in the whole of last month.

As long as you don't subscribe to the theory that humans are causing this, Tan ;)

That was my whole point Logi ^.^ I fail to see how Humans in a few hundred years could have done anything that would have a true effect on global warming.

I wont argue over it with you, so stop trying to bait me into a discusion on it.  I belive what I belive and leave others free to belive whatever they choose, if you cant offer the same respect, we must agree to Disagree.
