Our glorious armies prepare to do battle against the infidels, in the event that they foolishly attempt to take spite at my ultimatum to them. Our well-trained armies are already sailing across the Arabian Ocean to Firanj, to defend the lands of the Caliphate from the New Swiss devils and their German lapdogs, as well as marching up the mighty Nile to Uganda, to defend against any possible DKB aggression. We warn the other member of the Triple Alliance, the Netherlands, that to follow up on their treaty with the New Swiss is tantamount to facing commercial disaster, as we will close the Canal to all warring nations if they choose to insult our national honor and take our lands. Our mighty Navy goes forth in the name of Allah, to do battle with the fleets of the infidels, if necessary.

However, we give the infidels until March 20 to remove themselves from their unrighteous occupation of Central Firanj. However, it is to be noted by all of the nations of the world that we have received NO diplomatic message from ANY of the nations of the Triple Alliance. It is THEY who are the warmongers, the disturbers of peace, the wrongdoers. Instead they ask for the "localization" of the "imminent conflict" and tell us that "God should have mercy on you, for we shall have none", they are so intent on war and death and destruction. We shall give those hateful things to them if they insist, but let the world know that I seek peace.

People of the world hear!
We Support an Independant nation. Formed from the will of the people! And for that we are called warmongers! We will not let ourselves be bulid by religious fanatics. Hear, who is the aggresosor? Who treatens to use force?

The NSN has declared a blockade of West Australia as of Febuary 1st. The Constitution group will be present to enforce it.

The Republic of Central Australia simply does not exist. Only the Caliphate exists in Central Firanj. The New Swiss have made up a new country so that they can take our territory. This is obviously unacceptable. We think that perhaps the New Swiss look down on us because we have a different religion than they, or perhaps they think that our race is "unequal" to theirs, because they would certainly not take the territory of France, or of the DKB, or of the Netherlands, or of Rohan, or of any other similar nation like they have of ours.

And now the vile New Swiss proclaim that they are blockading Firanj. What negotiators! What peace lovers! It will not work anyway. If any ships are stopped by the New Swiss, war will be declared. How do they intend to stop the 1st and 2nd Battlesquadrons, which have eight battleships, five armored cruisers, two protected cruisers, a gunboat, and six torpedo boats, with ships that are designed to run away! We find this laughable.

Yet note now that we are STILL desirous of peace. Yet the villainous New Swiss infidels refuse to even entertain the thought of negotiation.

OOC: That's the naval OOB for Firanj currently. The land OOB for Firanj is currently:

1 Elite Infantry Corps
1 Desert Infantry Corps
1 Infantry Corps
1 Desert Cavalry Corps

(reserves: not yet activated: 5 Infantry Corps)

On...oh, say, February 3, 1900, a convoy carrying an Elite Desert Infantry Corps will arrive at Firanj.

OOC: That IS interesting...I didn't realize that you are making a reply as of January 30th or 31st...I guess that means its war then.

BTW, your cruiser group can't possibly arrive for quite a few days, since they will have to put in at a port before they can get news of the blockade, and then they will have to sail to a position west of Perth. No radio right now for information...

The Mughal Empire declares that New Switzerland is in the wrong in this conflict, and will patrol the Indian Ocean with our active warships. We will escort the Caliphate's merchant ships to and from Firanj. If the New Swiss or any of her allies fires on a Mughal ship or a ship escorted by a Mughal warship, it will be war.

It would be wise for the Triple Alliance to examine our Army OOB before rashly starting a war with us.

The Constitution Group is currently anchored in the Spartlys, they can arrive of Pearth very fast, since there is a telegraph station there.

The Netherlands WILL honor it's treaty within the Triple Alliance. The Royal Navy has been alerted and is preparing for war.

If the Caliph had designs for the region why have you waited till now to act. Any one of the members of the Triple Alliance could have claimed the area now known as the Republic of Central Australia. But we chose to let the people have a independent country of their own.

The Royal Navy will fight if provoked.

Will the Alliance have to attempt to take the Suez Canal? Or is rounding the Cape suitable for the Dutch/Belgium Forces? (I still want to call it Belgiumlands.)

(Oh and this is good in a way. Better to fight the player nations than the NPCs (that includes France).

The Suez Canal is already closed to vessels of the Quadruple wink.gif Alliance, IIRC. France did it shortly after the signing of the Treaty of Brandenburg.
