Damn, so close to home, and I had to build a robot.

The annoying thing is that next year it is at Leeuwarden which is pretty far away for me and for you it is even further. Speaking from experience, trains are not an option for that airshow (at least not on the day of the airshow itself).

That is some pretty good photography work you got there.

Thanks. In those three days, I've taken 1585 pictures (JSF and the Fitter's right side pics were made by mom) so a few were bound to be reasonable. I've had a few problems with the camera's focus on Thursday (used manual but by the time the camera was focussed and I pressed the button, the planes had moved on a bit) so I switched the camera's setting to manual/semi-auto which at a number of times caused the camera to lose focus when I failed to get a proper lock on target. Also with the solos crossing eachother, I failed a few times to get a good picture of the two planes crossing (despite shooting 5 pics in a row, they still managed to pass right between the shots) though I was lucky a few times.
