New York December 23rd

In New York today, His Majesty King Harold VII, issued and official invitation to the New Swiss to bring the Phoenix to our Glorious Capital city, before she returns to New Switzerland. This offer comes after diplomatic conversations between our two Glorious Countries.

Chicago December 24th

With the easing of relations between our nation and the CSA, the port of Chicago began to receive the first ships that have sailed up the Mississippi from ports further down river, having offloaded their cargo for transfer to railroad cars for to take them to Chicago docks. This new spirit of trade has caused a sudden awakening of several previously derelict Quays in order to cope with the increased traffic.

Brooklyn December 27th

Today the Last of the new King Class Battleships, King Harold VI, was handed over to her new crew in order to commence her shakedown trials. Captain Harold Gaunt said he was overjoyed that he had been given the command of the great ship. Serving under him as his Number one, Prince Stephen, the youngest son of the heir to the throne, Prince Pascal Sauvage, said he was honoured that the Royal Family had permitted him to serve on active duty.
